Personal Services

By accepting and paying for the initial consultation, the client is entering into the following agreement with The Holistic Health Method Ltd.

What We Do

The Holistic Health Method® provides nutritional therapy, lifestyle medicine, personal training and consultancy services to individual clients or companies with a view to supporting and optimising health through diet and lifestyle interventions. Nutritional therapy is recognised as a complementary medicine and is relevant for individuals with chronic conditions, as well as those looking for support to enhance their health and wellbeing. Through our questionnaire, consultations, dietary analysis and potential functional testing recommendations, we seek to understand the underlying causes of your health issues in order to provide individualised nutrition and lifestyle advice as well as possible supplement recommendations and support you on your journey to better health.

Packages

We offer a range of personal health packages to clients and provide all the details on each of these during the discovery call and in a follow-up email. In order for programmes and packages to be beneficial for you the client, sessions must be booked and attended consistently. Leaving large gaps between sessions can significantly interfere with progress. The expiry date of your purchased programme/package is made available to you prior to booking. It is solely your responsibility to book and attend all sessions during this time frame. If your package expires you will not be able to redeem outstanding sessions. 

Functional Tests and Supplements

During your consultations with The Holistic Health Method®, the practitioner may recommend private functional testing (outside of that offered by the GP), using biological samples and tests to help to determine a possible cause for your symptoms. The cost for this is not included in the package pricing and will be an additional charge. The tests will likely be ordered via The Holistic Health Method® and charged at the standard RRP via invoice to the client on immediate payment terms. A small amount of commission will be taken within that total cost by The Holistic Health Method® to cover the time required to interpret the test results and write a report. Report writing can take up to two weeks depending on the practitioner’s capacity. Please note that you are not obligated to take any test if you do not wish to, and tests will only be recommended if the information gleaned is not available from the public health service and is highly relevant to the individual.

In addition to diet and lifestyle recommendations, the practitioner may recommend supplements (nutraceuticals) based on your specific case. The cost for any supplements is not included in the package pricing and will be additional. These will likely be ordered via The Holistic Health Method® and invoiced on immediate payment terms, or a discount code may be given to the client to purchase them direct from the supplier. A 10% discount is available on supplements. A small amount of commission is taken by The Holistic Health Method® on any supplements purchased with the discount – this charge helps to cover the time taken to research the supplement and check for any contraindications or interactions relevant to the individual. Please note that purchasing and taking supplements is optional and will not always be recommended.

1:1 Appointments

The Holistic Health Method® operates a predominantly online consultation service via Zoom, with home visits in London available at the individuals request. All initial consultations will be carried out via Zoom. If you book an online consultation it is your responsibility to have a working internet connection. If the internet connection fails for any reason, the rest of the consultation will be carried out via the telephone. Appointments should be booked via email correspondence with the relevant practitioner. Please expect a response time on emails of up to 48 hours, although we will endeavour to get back to you sooner. The only reason for more extended delays in response time would be to do with annual leave or extenuating circumstances.

Recording consultations using any form of electronic media is not permitted for either party without the written permission by both the practitioner and you the client.

Support Structure Between Consultations

If a package has been purchased, email support will be included. This is predominantly for small questions and queries. Anything that involves a long list of questions or sharing a significant amount of personal information should be reserved for consultations or check-ins. Please expect a response time on emails of up to 48 hours, although we will endeavour to get back to you sooner. The only reason for more extended delays in response time would be to do with annual leave or extenuating circumstances.

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of the booking, or an upfront deposit can be negotiated, followed by a second instalment halfway through the package. Alternatively, you have the option to set up monthly instalments by direct debit. You will receive an invoice once you have confirmed that you wish to proceed with The Holistic Health Method® services. The initial consultation will not be scheduled until the agreed payment is received. Please note, all packages are subject to the time limit in which they need to be used. Cancellation Policy

Our goal is to provide quality care to all clients. When you book an appointment, you are holding a space in our calendar that is no longer available to other clients. In order to be respectful and fair to others, please cancel as soon as you know you cannot make your appointment. 

• You may cancel your initial appointment up to 48 hours in advance for a full refund or to reschedule the appointment at no additional cost. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will not be eligible for a refund. 

• If you book an online consultation it is your responsibility to have a working internet connection. If your internet connection is not working the consultation can take place over the telephone. It is not possible to re-book consultations due to poor internet connection. 

• Packages will not be eligible for a refund if at some point during the course of the package you wish to terminate, unless there are extenuating circumstances that are out of your control. This is at the discretion of Jade Leighton, owner of The Holistic Health Method Ltd. The effectiveness of our program is largely determined by you and your commitment. We cannot guarantee you will achieve the results you desire. We will go above and beyond to deliver this. If you feel this has not been the case please email jade@theholistichealthmethod.com with valid reasons as to why you wish to be refunded.
